Card Enhancements



We are making enhancements this September to our debit and credit cards which will offer you an improved card experience. 






Continue using your MAX ATM, debit, and credit cards!
Your cards will continue to function through the migration with no anticipated interruption to service.

Note for Credit Cardholders:
  • All credit card statements for August 15-September 16 will be mailed. This applies to cardholders who are opted in for eStatements in the current system. You will return to receiving eStatements (if previously opted-in) for the following statement cycle. Past eStatements in the current system can be viewed at downloaded up until September 10. We encourage all cardholders to consider opting-in for eStatements to combat fraud by reducing the amount of sensitive information coming to your mailbox. 
  • For accounts with joint owners or authorized users: Each account card holder (primary, joint, and/or authorized user) will receive a new card with their own card number. Activate this card immediately to avoid disruption in services. Also, update the new card number with any auto-pays and in your digital wallet.
  • To make a credit card payment you can:
    Option 1: Transfer funds directly from your MAX share, money market, or checking accounts by selecting Funds Transfer under Transactions (no fee).
    Option 2: Use Online Banking and choose the Pay Loan with Card option in the Transactions menu. From Pay Loan with Card, you can either set up an ACH Transfer from your external account (no fee) or pay by card ($4.95 fee).
    Option 3: Go to Login in the upper right corner of the page and choose Pay my Loan. You can either set up an ACH Transfer from your external account (no fee) or pay by card ($4.95 fee). 
    Please note: We are unable to process credit cards payments by phone.

  • Card Controls
    • Download the new app     Apple Store  Google Playstore
    • The MAX Card Manager app will change and the old app will be unavailable after September 16. 
    • You will need to download the new Card Manager app and create an account. Beginning September 16 you will find a link to download the new app in online banking.
    • Any existing alerts will not transfer to the new app.
    • Any cards that are currently turned off in Card Manager will automatically be unblocked on September 16.
  • Debit Cards
    • At the time of your current card's expiration or if your card is reported lost or stolen, you will receive a new card with a new card number. You will need to update the new card information with any auto-pay system.
  • Credit Cards
    • Your monthly statements will be accessible in MAX online banking. You must either already by opted into eStatements or will need to opt-in in order to receive eStatements in online banking. 
    • Any past statements will not transfer to the new format. Please download any past eStatements that you want to keep before September 10.
    • Rewards cardholders - You will begin earning credit card rewards through the MAX Member Rewards points program. View available points in online banking or the app. Redeem points for cash in online banking/app or in any branch.
    • To make a credit card payment from an external account or debit card, you can use Online Banking and choose the Pay with Card option in the menu. Or, for a fee, you can go to Login in the upper right corner of the webpage and choose Pay my Loan. You can also transfer funds directly from your MAX share, money market, or checking accounts by selecting Funds Transfer. 
    • If choosing to mail in payments, please send new credit card payments to PO Box 14490, St. Louis, MO 63178. 
  • You may continue using your cards throughout the migration. (Note: Debit and ATM cardholders that have not been activated will be unable to activate new cards between September 10 and September 16. You will also not be able to set or change PINs during this period.)
  • You will continue earning Member Rewards points for eligible debit card purchases during the migration.
  • Credit Cards
    • Rewards cardholders - You will continue earning points, but they will accrue in the MAX Member Rewards program. View your points balance and redeem points for cash through online banking or in any branch.
