MAX Credit Union Announces 2021 Community Achievement Recipient
MONTGOMERY, AL (November 22, 2021) - MAX Credit Union, a local financial institution based in Montgomery, AL, is pleased to announce Mercy House as the recipient of the 2021 MAX Community Achievement award. The MAX Community Achievement award is based on overall contribution to the community as well continued efforts to bring people together making a positive impact.
Mercy House is a local non-profit organization located in the Washington Park community where they focus on eliminating barriers that have plagued citizens in this area. Through a strong desire to make a positive impact, Mercy House created and is currently facilitating various programs focused on food insecurity, clothing and hygiene needs, career and education, youth programs, and care coordination.
As the recipient of the award, Mercy House will receive a $10,000 donation to assist in efforts furthering their mission. “Mercy House is a prime example of an organization doing exceptional work in the community,” said MAX CEO, Martin Head. “We are honored to name Mercy House as the 2021 MAX Community Achievement recipient and look forward to assisting in their continued efforts to make an overall impact.”

A check presentation is set to take place on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Mercy House. Those in attendance will include Mercy House team members, MAX Credit Union Board of Directors, members of our executive management team and MAX CEO, Martin Head.
